Swami Parthasarathy is the pre-eminent philosopher and author. Swamiji, as he is popularly known, has a multi-disciplined academic base with postgraduation from London University. Renouncing a lucrative shipping business early in life he has dedicated himself to full time study, research and propagation of Vedanta, the ancient philosophy of India. In the course of six decades of selfless service to humanity, Swamiji’s outstanding contribution has been to infuse this eternal wisdom into modern life for peaceful and productive living.

In 1988 he founded the Vedanta Academy wherein he imparts Vedanta knowledge to young students from all over the world.

At 90, Swamiji follows a daily schedule of yoga and jogging. As an accomplished sportsman, he still wins many most-valuable-player awards for his Academy cricket team. Above all, at 6 feet he has maintained a 32 inch waistline and 67 kg weight for the past 70 years!
